Help Animals in Our Community

Every year, thousands of animals arrive at Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) in need of care, comfort, and attention. Volunteers play an important role in helping those animals feel safe while they wait for adoption, rescue, or reunification with their families.

Whether you’re walking dogs, caring for cats, helping at events, or supporting programs behind the scenes, your time can make a real difference.
