The Art of Animal Adoption exhibit will open on December 1, 2025 and run through the end of December. at the Peoria Humane Society.  Local artist, Jacob Hornabck, will have a small collection of paintings portraying dogs and cats from the Peoria Animal Protection Services animal shelter.  An informal reception will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 3-4 pm at the PHS Education Building.

Jacob s part of the 22 VA group of Veterans who use art as a way to express themselves and heal from trauma.  We are happy to partner with him to showcase adoptable shelter animals. and highlight their stories.
