Help Animals in Need
The PHS's 26th annual Bark in the Park 2022 was a big success! Tower Park in Peoria Heights was an amazing location with space to enjoy a variety of activities including dog olympics, paw printing painting, raffle baskets, cash raffle drawing, marvelous Mutt Show, paw print painting, cake walk, and a dog parade, animals for adoption, and pet related exhibitors. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised close to $25,000 for the animals!
This event is the Peoria Humane Society's largest fundraiser and is vital to continuing to support people and animals throughout the Peoria area. Proceeds from Bark in the Park will help fund life-saving care for local animals in need, promote adoption of homeless shelter animals, provide food for hungry pets in our community, reduce pet overpopulation and create awareness about kind treatment of animals through educational programs. The PHS is a non-profit organization that depends on donors and funds raised through events like Bark in the Park to help animals locally.
The need to help animals is ongoing. If you were unable to attend Bark this year, you can still partner with us and join in the fight to help animals who need protection and care by sending your donation to Peoria Humane Society, 2600 NE Perry, Peoria, IL 61603 or click on Donate show your support for animals.
