Bark in the Park 2024
Join us on saturday, september 28th!
Bark in the Park will take place at Tower Park in Peoria Heights again this year, and we have lots of activities for animal lovers! Bark fun includes; Marvelous Mutt Show, Cake Walk and Pupkin Parade with prizes, souvenir photos, pet related exhibitors, dog rescue groups, raffle baskets, a cash raffle drawing, and food vendors from 10-2 pm.
There will be no registration fee to enter the event, Instead, you can support the Peoria Humane Society by pre-ordering your Bark in the Park t-shirt for $25 before September 13th or at the event. Bark Bucks can be purchased in advance or at the event for $5 each and used to participate in the event activities.

Bad Hair Day
This year's parade theme is pumpkins! You and your precious dog can dress up in a pumpkin costume and enter to win a prize!
Order Your Bark in the Park t-shirt
You can also support our biggest fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets to enter in the drawing to win a cash prize. Bark in the Park raffle tickets are available online this year! Tickets are $2 each, or 3 for $5 and there is no limit to how many you can purchase. They can also be purchased at the Peoria Humane Society and PCAPS and other locations over the next few months as well as at the event. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates on where to buy tickets in person. Every ticket you buy goes to help animals through your donation to Bark in the Park and gives you a chance at winning $500, $250, or $100! Winners will be drawn at Bark in the Park on September 28th at 1:45 pm. Please make sure to include a good phone number so we can notify the winner.
Bark in the Park is the Peoria Humane Society's largest fundraiser and is vital to continuing to support people and animals throughout the Peoria area. Proceeds from Bark in the Park will help fund life-saving care for local animals in need, promote adoption of homeless shelter animals, provide food for hungry pets in our community, reduce pet overpopulation and create awareness about kind treatment of animals through educational programs. The PHS is a non-profit organization that depends on donors and funds raised through events like Bark in the Park to help animals locally.
The need to help animals is ongoing. If you are unable to attend Bark in the Park, you can still partner with us and join in the fight to help animals who need protection and care by sending your donation to Peoria Humane Society, 2600 NE Perry, Peoria, IL 61603 or click on Donate show your support for animals.
