Here’s a look at upcoming events and fundraisers we have coming up. We hope to see you there!
Our annual Blessing of the Animals at PHS. Bring your pets for them to receive a blessing. All pets are welcome. Must have dogs on a leash and all other animals in a carrier or otherwise restrained.
Paws to Read gives children the opportunity to practice reading aloud to specially trained therapy dogs in a relaxed, supportive environment. Call the library at (309) 243-5716 to reserve your reading spot.
A variety of pet supplies and PHS merchandise will be for sale. Shop for your animal-loving friends and family and support the important programs at PHS.
Bring your gifts and PHS and therapy dogs will wrap them for a donation. Gift wrapping station is in front of the Wings mural on the upper level of Northwoods Mall past the food court.

Bring a little personality to Peoria while making a difference for animals in our community! Purchase your own Pups of Peoria sculpture to paint and display, and your purchase will help support the Peoria Humane Society’s mission and programs that improve the lives of local animals.
Purchase a Paw Print Calendar and fill your 2027 with pictures of adorable pets from our community. Calendar’s are only $5 and proceeds support the Peoria Humane Society programs.
One way to support the Peoria Humane Society’s mission is to purchase merch! Part of the proceeds come back to the PHS and help us fund our programs. It’s also a great way to spread awareness about animal welfare in our community.
Our Pet Therapy Program depends on dedicated volunteers and their dogs who are willing to share their time, compassion, and companionship with others. If you and your dog enjoy meeting people and making a positive impact in your community, we invite you to learn more about becoming part of the team. Together, we can bring comfort, connection, and joy to those who need it most.
