Kindhearted Kids

Kindhearted Kids is a character development program that teaches children the values of kindness, responsibility, empathy, and respect through the care of a special stuffed pet. Each student is paired with their own dog or cat, complete with a name, background, and medical history, and learns what it means to care for an animal through daily activities and lessons.

Along the way, students develop an understanding of responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of treating all living creatures with compassion. The program encourages children to make thoughtful decisions, build confidence, and strengthen the bond between people and animals in a fun and memorable way.

Kindhearted Kids is made possible through the generosity of our community. If you’re interested in bringing the program to your school or sponsoring a classroom, we’d love to hear from you.
