Bark in the Park
Helping raise funds for local animals in need for over 20 years!
This year's Bark will be:
Sunday, September 9, 2018!
11am-3pm at Festival Park on the Peoria Riverfront
Our goal for Bark 2018 is to raise $50,000 - which will help fund programs to provide lifesaving care for animals in need, promote adoption of homeless shelter animals, and reduce pet overpopulation. The Peoria Humane Society is a non-profit organization. We depend on donors and funds raised through events like the Bark to help make the Peoria area a better community for both animals and the people who care for them. Watch our progress in reaching our $50,000 goal with the thermometer on the right. (Provided by CoolFundraisingIdeas.net)
You can also get us closer to our goal by creating a personal fundraising page via the green framed button below. It's quick and easy and makes a HUGE difference for animals in need. Show your friends, family, and co-workers that you care about animals by raising money for PHS and supporting our goal to end animal suffering and neglect.
We hope you'll come and help us reach our goal. The animals are counting on us!
Each year the event features the hilariously funny "Mutt Show" in which your dog can compete and show off a special talent and win prizes, an outstanding raffle tent, cash raffle, Canine Carnival, professional photo with you and your dog, pawprint painting, kids activity center, food vendors, and more! You can find more information on this year's Bark at the bottom of this webpage.
