The Peoria Humane Society's Core Values represent the basic tenets of the non-profit group that has long been dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals.  Our organization defined as its foundation the values of respect, responsibility, peace, and kindness.  These Core Values lead supporters, members, directors, and employees through creating and implementing processes and programs that will benefit the animal and human community in the Peoria area.  Taken individually or as a whole, the values are intended to promote compassionate and humane treatment of all living creatures.

Understanding the future rewards of teaching our young people that all life deserves respect, we as a humane society reach out to support our schools in their mission to raise up a generation of people who value kindness, respect, peace, and responsible treatment for all.
