Pet First Aid

The Peoria Humane Society has developed a special course to teach animal lovers how to help their pets in an emergency. Participants will learn handy skills, including how to: administer CPR and rescue breathing, relieve choking, make a pet First Aid kit, identify and care for common ailments and emergencies. Bark in the Park

It's all about bringing people who care about animals together in one huge effort to improve the lives of animals in our community! Summer Story Time

Join in the summer time fun at the Peoria Humane Society's Story Time and learn about the wonderful world of animals with interactive stories and crafts for Pre-K through 3rd grade children. Adults are asked to accompany children attending story time. All of the stories offered at Animals Aloud! Story Time encourage young people to show kindness and respect to all living creatures. This year's theme: Remarkable Reptiles!

Kitten Yoga

Come join our yoga session at Captivation Dance by Kaleigh in Morton on June 8th, 2019! Once again, adoptable kittens will be running around throughout the event. We ask for a $20 donation to attend a class. Children attending the Kiddy Kitten Yoga session will be $10 per child.

 

The yoga classes are taught by a registered instructor and are geared for any skill level. We ask that you bring your own mat and water bottle. If you have any questions, contact Brittany Barnes at bbarnes@peoriahs.org. Spots are limited so reserve yours today:

The HUMANe Race

The HUMANe Race is a 5k run/walk and 1 mile walk to benefit the Peoria Humane Society.  If you are an animal lover of fur, feathers, fins, or scales or you are simply looking for a fun way to be physically active, the HUMANe RACE is for you!
