The Peoria Humane Society offers summer camps for 5th & 6th, 7th & 8th, and high school age youth. Animal loving kids will enjoy learning about animal shelter work, spend time with animals, hear from special guest speakers, take field trips and have fun working on animal related projects! Camp runs from 9 am to 12 noon and is limited to 10 youth per session. The cost of camp is $40 per youth, all campers receive a t-shirt and camp journal! This camp is for 5th & 6th grade youth who want to spend time with other animal-loving youth and help homeless animals at the PCAPS shelter.

This camp is for 7th & 8th grade youth who want to meet new friends that share a passion for animals. They also learn about and help local animals and homeless pets.

Animal Welfare Camp - High School age
This camp is for high school age youth that would like to meet people who share their passion and also learn about a future in an animal related career. There are many guest speakers, outings, and project perfect for an animal-loving teen.
